Dugong Beach Lodge

Situated along the Southern Mozambique Coast within 30 000 hectares of pristine marine and wildlife territory in the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary, Dugong Beach Lodge combines two biospheres which make for a unique wilderness and beach experience.

This diverse eco-system of wilderness and wetland, with its powder-white beaches and crystal clear water is host to a magnificent array of beautiful creatures such as the leatherback turtle, sailfish, manta ray, dolphin and flocks of flamingos and pelicans. Most importantly it is the only site in the world where the near-extinct dugong (which resembles a sea lion) is found.

Guests are accommodated in luxury, framed, tented chalets with hardwood floors and thatched Jekka grass roofs. Accommodates up to 20 guests in chalets with an en-suite bathroom, with huge feature bath, outside shower and private patio.
