Accommodation at Tartaruga Maritima consists of:

The tents are extremely private and set far apart in the indigenous forest with wooden walkways linking you to the beach and main deck area. Tents are spacious, comfortable and airy, with en suite bathrooms and hot water. Electric fans and comfortable beds with mosquito nets ensure your utmost comfort. Inside tents you will also find tea / coffee making facilities. All linen is provided.

Within the camp you will find ample gathering spots. The large communal deck overlooking the sea has modern food preparation and dining areas, with plenty of fridge/freezer space. There is also a lounge and bar area where you can relax and share your day over a drink while the sun sets. Modern electric cooking facilities and gas braai provide for your self-catering needs. All crockery and cutlery is provided. Main line electricity is supplied

Splash in the pool during a hot day or gather around a communal fire at night to relate stories and exchange encounters. A separate TV room will cater for the rugby enthusiasts or keep the children entertained.

The area abounds with wildlife, keeping you immersed in nature at all times. Diving the reefs of Ponta Malongane and Ponto do Ouro (only half an hour away), you will discover a lush underwater regime of coral plants. Large shoals of fish swim by while you hear the calls of dolphins and whales underwater. Swim with the dolphins at Ponta do Ouro, go snorkeling, horseback riding, enjoy the prolific birdlife in the indigenous forest or take long walks on the never ending beaches.
