More than Expected
Wow I must say what value for money. We were expecting much less than what Motel Do Mar offered, interms of accomodation and location.
The location was fantastic. The rooms are very basic but supplied us with everything we needed, including our rooms being cleaned daily. The vibe was also great as they were very relaxed and didnt make a fuss about noise being made. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a jol:)The breakfast buffet was basic but did the job, I would not recommend ordering food or cocktails at the restaurant as it is pricey and takes long to be served. But all and all a great stay.

Missing cooking pot.
I would like to bring to your attention that the staff are ripping the quests off by claiming that stuff is missing when they do the deposit inspection.We had to pay R100.00 for a cooking pot that according to them was missing.The chalet we stayed in did not have a inventory list and therefore we could not prove that the pot was never there.

Beautiful value.
We loved the place...basic, but clean and simple. We had a noisy crowd behind us, but one can't choose their neighbours I guess. The beach - beautiful. The staff honest and friendly, The breakfast - satisfying. Thank-you for the lovely holiday............x

Motel do Mar Holiday
Had a lovely time people were friendly.
Pat was very helpfull with all my questions.

we had to wait two hours for boarder transfer, I had to phone Mary to remind her to collect us.
We arrange for return collect at 7:15 they only arrived at7:45

Nice Surprise
It was a nice surprise for a comfortable, affordable breakaway. Close to the border, easy to reach. Friendly staff. No luxuries but basic needs fulfilled, great location.

It was fantastic
It was fantastic, we had the most incredible time. Must commend the resort on the cleanliness of all the facilities. Staff were friendly especially the two guys at reception Oscar and the other gentlemen ...sorry forgot his name but sooooo helpful and kind and all staff honest...WOW cant wait to get back....Transport organized Oscar wonderful on time. Have such high regard for Ponta do Oura the place and its people. We arrived without any provisions and a fun experience to go out and use the market and interact with the local lovely people.

Accommodation was very comfortable.
We stayed in flat no 35 and I really think the place needs a proper 'spring clean'. Specially the tiles in the bathroom. Other wise we had a pleasant stay.

Motel do Mar
We had a wonderful time at Motel do Mar in Ponta.Very clean and family orientated.Loverly beach and 28deg water. It was a bit noisy but that was expected seeing it was easter holidays. Will definitely be back in December.

Motel del mar
The entire complex is in desperate need of an upgrade. The kitchen facilities within the bedroom is less than adequate. The unit was clean but with no seating arrangements inside the unit in bad weather conditions it is most uncomfortable. The restaurant in the complex is not recomended. The complex is situated next to an all night disco and the music is non stop until 7.30 in the morning. This complex is definately not good value for money and I certainly would not stay there again. There was theft in the complex while we were there.

this resort has so much more potential to be a great holiday resort but there seems to be a total lack of interest. the kitchen is disgusting at the main restaurant, unhygienic to say the least.the staff are not so friendly, had to ask 3 times for bath towels and cleaning needs to be improved drastically. i would never recommend this resort to anyone , rather pay the extra and stay next door at coco rico....

We loved Ponta, we also loved where the resort was situated, basic accommodation, very, very clean and on the beach........ went for stunning beach walks, loved the umbrellas on the beach with the sun loungers placed on the beach in front of resort every morning, lots of shade and restaurant and bar facility 1 minute walk away. Enjoyed all restaurants in area and loved the idea that it was all walking distance from your resort, everything was available, not to mention the R & R's..... local drink Rasbery Sparletta and Local Rum, the local bread was another daily high with very affordable takeaway next door with very nice "slap chips" We can't wait to return!!!!!!!!

Motel Do Mar
Easy access to beach a great Plus-Point. We had a wonderful time when we stayed. Food NOT great at the restaurant. We drove to 360 and had lunch/dinner there. Otherwise we fully enjoyed our stay.

Nice clean on the beach easy acces secure friendly place to stay. Only make sure beach front is infront and not 2nd to beach with view.
